Brussels, 05/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - EU member states are still nowhere near a deal on how to fund the €5bn from Community funds for investing in the European economic recovery but progress has recently been made. The Czech Presidency of the EU affirmed that it sought to present a draft compromise, most probably sometime next week. The Ecofin Council on Tuesday 10 March will also mention this dossier.
