Council adopts almost consensual conclusions on future of Common Agriculture Policy after 2013

Brussels, 28/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - Consensus was not reached but France is pleased to note that all European ministers but three (from the United Kingdom, Sweden and Latvia) supported, on Friday 28 November in Brussels, the conclusions submitted by the Council Presidency on the future and role of the CAP (common agricultural policy) after 2013. But, as is wont when consensus is not reached, the text takes the form of Council presidency conclusions.
