28/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - At the Knowledge Fair at the Musée du Cinquantenaire in Brussels from 1 to 4 December, Commissioner Jacques Barrot, with the United Nations, will launch an initiative on migration and development. The project will last three years and will receive funding of €15 million from the Commission to support NGOs and local authorities. “This initiative is the most ambitious ever launched in this area at EU level, said Barrot.
