Formal adoption of 2009 fishing quotas in Baltic Sea

Brussels, 28/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 28 November, the EU Council of Ministers adopted without debate the regulation setting total allowable catches (TACs) and fishing quotas for 2009 in the waters of the Baltic Sea. The political agreement had been reached unanimously by European fisheries ministers on 27 October (EUROPE 9771).
