28/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - The Party of the European Left is launching its campaign for the European elections in June 2009 during a conference to be held this weekend (29-30 November) in Berlin. On this occasion, the party will adopt for the first time a common “platform” for the European ballot. The president of the GUE/NGL Group at the EP, Francis Wurtz of France, will be among the speakers in the German capital. (H.B./transl.jl)
