Finance ministers to focus on cut-rate VAT and upcoming European Summit

Brussels, 28/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - The final meeting of EU finance ministers under the French Presidency of the EU will be held on Tuesday 2 December 2008, and will focus on preparing for the European Summit of 11 and 12 December 2008 and a new debate on cut-rate value added tax (VAT).

Eurogroup. Eurozone ministers will meet in the evening of Monday 1 December 2008 to look at progress in national measures to tackle the economic crisis and developments in the financial markets. EU...
