Adoption of regulation on protection for Greenland halibut

Brussels, 21/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the Council of the EU adopted, without debate, a regulation transposing decisions taken in September 2003 by the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organisation (NAFO) on a stock reconstitution planned for Greenland halibut (EUROPE 8804 and 8977) into Community law.
