21/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of FL Selenia S.p.A. of Italy by Sole Italy S.à.r.l. of Luxembourg, ultimately controlled by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (KKR) of the US. FL Selenia manufactures and distributes automotive, industrial and marine lubricants and systems fluids for cars and industrial vehicles. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
