21/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - CNRS Director General Bernard Larrouturou signed, on 16 December in Brussels, with the European Commissioner for Research, Janez Potocnik, the European Charter for Researchers and on a Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. These texts, adopted in March this year by the Commission, aim to lay the base for a European statute for research workers. The CNRS is the first French research organisation to subscribe to it.
