21/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 20 December, the Council adopted a decision 'authorising the signing and the provisional application of an agreement between the EU and Belarus on trade in textile products, extending until 31 December 2006 the existing agreement with a number of adjustments of quantitative limits.' In 2006, Belarus along with North Korea and Montenegro, will be the only countries subject to textile quotas in the EU.
