21/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of a newly created company by Technip S.A. (Technip) of France and Subsea 7 Pty Ltd (Subsea 7) of Singapore. Technip and Subsea 7 are both active in the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and maintenance of facilities for the underwater production and transportation of oil and gas.
