Marie Anne Isler Béguin calls for election re-run if necessary in constituencies where “gross violations” have occurred

Brussels, 08/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a preliminary declaration diffused on 7 November in Bakou, the international observation mission of parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan on 6 November notes that certain criteria of the OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe) and Council of Europe on democratic elections were not met.
