08/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - In conclusions it adopted on Monday 7 November, the General Affairs Council reiterates that the EU and its Member States are inclined to support the implementation of the pending African Force under the aegis of the African Union (AU). In particular, the Council highlights the aid provided to AU workshops tasked with drawing up the political and practical aspects of certain key sectors in the structure of the African Force.
