08/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - Jorma Ollila, Chairman and CEO of Nokia, will succeed Gerhard Cromme as char of the European Round Table of Industrialists (ERT), according to a press release. ERT aims to boost Europe's competitiveness and voice industry's views on policies impacting on it. It is a forum of 49 leaders of major companies with European parentage, with a combined turnover of EUR 1.5 bn, employing around 4.5 million people worldwide.
