EP corrects error in new directive on concluding regular public contracts

Brussels, 28/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 27 September the European Parliament adopted the report of Stefano Zappalà (EPP/ED, Italy) on the legislative proposal to correct a technical error that appeared in directive 2004/18/ED on regular public contracts (EUROPE 9028). The error involves thresholds used in publicly subsidised contracts that have to remain aligned on the thresholds applied for service contracts concluded with central governments.
