Brussels, 08/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - On 27 July, the European Commission approved programmes presented by fourteen Member States (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Spain Portugal, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, United Kingdom and Ireland) for studies to be carried out this year on the avian influenza present in poultry and wild birds.
