Romano Prodi postpones Commission debate on GMO threshold level in seeds that are supposed to be GMO-free - next Commission to decide

Brussels, 08/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday the European Commission decide to postpone its debate on the proposal to set a tolerance threshold in Community legislation for accidental or technically inevitable levels of GMOs for traditional or organic see that are supposed to be GMO-free (EUROPE 7 September p 10).
