UNICE wants common tax base for companies, but British and Irish delegations disagree

Brussels, 08/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The representative of European employers, UNICE, aside from its British and Irish delegations, supports the Commission's proposal to harmonise the corporate tax base, which will be submitted to the informal Ecofin Council of Scheveningen this weekend (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.8).
