08/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - On 6 September, the European Commission adopted a regulation banning catches of sole in the waters of the Norwegian Sea and the North Sea by boats flying the flag of France, until the end of the year. This regulation, published in the Official Journal L287 of 8 September 2004, takes effect from 17 July, the date on which France exhausted its quota.
