24/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has given the green light to Saudi Arabian Oil Company's planned acquisition of Japanese company Showa Shell Sekiyu KK. The Saudi Arabian Oil Company will take joint control of Showa Shell Sekiyu with Royal Dutch/Shell Group, which will sell the Saudi Arabian company some of its shares in Showa Shell.
