Brussels, 24/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved, under the Merger Regulation, the proposed merger between Yamanouchi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd and Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Although their sales in Europe is significant and their activities overlap in certain regions the Commission considers that important playes will maintain competition Union.
