Commission protects designation of origin for eleven products

Brussels, 24/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to add eleven protected designation of origin (PDO) for agricultural and food products to the list of protected geographical indication (PGI). These products come from Spain, Italy, France and Portugal: Spain, Carne de la Sierra de Guadarrama, Ternera de Navarra (or Nafarraoko Aratxea), Carne de Vacuno del Pais Vasco (Eurskal Okela), Ternera Asturiana, Carne de Cantabria and Pimiento Riojano; Italy: Kiwi Latina and...
