Loan for the construction of a combined heat and power plant

Luxembourg, 02/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) is to loan 800 million Swedish krona (SEK) to the company Göteborg Energi AB for the construction of a combined heat and power plant. The project concerns the construction of a gas-fired combined cycle co-generation unit, "Rya Kraftvärmeverk", and the extension, reinforcement and upgrading of the municipal district heating and power networks.
