22/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - According to Les Echos, on 7 July the European Commission is expected to send a reasoned opinion to France on its ban on television advertising in the cinema and publishing. Due to pressure from the European Commission, France has authorised since 1 January 2004 television advertising on all channels for the press as well as on cable and satellite for publishing, the cinema and in large scale distribution.
