Appeal from EP Liberal Democrats to hold referendum earlier than planned (also demanded by Conservatives) - Labour rebels against constitution

Brussels, 22/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - British Liberal Democrats are demanding that their government organise a referendum on the European constitution more rapidly than Tony Blair plans (probably not before spring 2006: EUROPE yesterday p 7).
