Commission to present communication in next few weeks on conditions for promoting expansion of broadband mobile services

Brussels, 15/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - As we already indicated during the Telecommunications Council on 10 June (EUROPE 11 June p 10), the European Commission is expected to present a communication in "coming weeks" on the conditions for expanding broadband mobile communications. It is in this context that last Thursday it presented to ministers an information note on this issue.
