EP approval for modifying protocol to EU/Greenland fisheries agreement

Strasbourg, 06/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - The EP has approved a proposal designed to modify certain fourth protocol provisions establishing possibilities to fish in Greenland waters, for the period 1 January 2001 to 31 December 2006. The report by Rosa Miguelez Ramos (Socialists, Spain) was adopted on Thursday in Strasbourg by 299 votes in favour, 101 against, and 16 abstentions.
