GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/eesc/industrial change

06/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - In its adoption of the own-initiative opinion by Goran Lagerholm of the Swedish Federation of Economic Activity (SN) on the impact of trade policy on industrial change, especially within the steel sector, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is recommending that the EU pursue a free market-access policy, as long as fair trade rules are observed.
