Commissioner Lamy expects negative reactions when EU makes offer on farming at Mercosur on 15 April - agreement on Russian accession to WTO is within reach

Brussels, 06/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - Trade Commission Pascal Lamy is expecting a few "spasms" from the Europeans, when the EU presents its offer on farming at Mercosur next week. On Tuesday for the last time during this legislature, Mr Lamy will be addressing the EP's trade and industry committee.
