EU Defence Ministers want June decision to get Armament Agency up and running by end 2004

Brussels, 06/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, EU Defence Ministers unanimously supported the idea that the External Relations Council take a formal decision in June to render the EU Armament Agency operational before the end of the year. Nick Witney, Director of the team in charge of setting up the agency, presented ministers with the preliminary conclusions of his report on Tuesday.
