06/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - The EU Council has updated the European list of Terrorist organisations to add the Colombian group Ejército de Liberación Nacional. The list now features 45 terrorists and 36 terrorist organisations, most of which (26 terrorists and 25 organisations) are based outside of the European Union. Appearing on the lists leads to the freezing of assets for non-European groups and strengthens the policing obligation for European groups (ETA, real IRA etc). See Official...
