16/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - The French association of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions held the first meeting of its steering committee, renewed in January, in Paris on 2 March. Several personalities from local, departmental or regional circles were elected or re-elected as members of the Bureau. They include Bertrand Delanoë, Jean-Paul Huchon, Alain Juppé and Jean-Claude Gaudin.
