CESI considers reforms of social protection systems and labour markets must not result in controlled abolition of social rights

Brussels, 16/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - During the meeting of its executive office on 10 March in Brussels, the European Confederation of Independent Trade Unions (CESI) adopted a resolution on "Employment Policy in the EU and its Member States - Employment 2004" (Rapporteur: Valentin Vellisco of Spain, FASGA trade union representing trade, insurance and tourism sectors, among others). The resolution will be CESI's contribution to the Spring European Summit on 25 and 26 March in Brussels.
