Strasbourg, 16/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - In a resolution adopted last Thursday, the EP points out that the EU's sanctions against the Burmese regime should be revised on 29 April, and calls for these sanctions to be reinforced, if, by then, the regime has not taken "tangible provisions towards the re-establishment of democracy in Burma".
