16/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Monday the European Commission decided to protect two designations of origin in Italian farming. The "Carciofo di Paestum" artichoke has been added to the Community list of protected designation of origin (PDO). Chestnut flour "Farina di Neccio della Garfagnana", which is now included in the list of protected designation of origin (PDO).
