EU wants to welcome reunited island on 1 may 2004

Brussels, 16/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - Negotiations to take place between the two Cypriot parties on 19 March in the former airport terminal of Nicosia may well succeed with the key referendum in the two communities on 21 April and accession to the European Union on 1 May.
