16/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - One of the main themes of the meeting of G5 Interior Ministers (France, Germany, United Kingdom, Spain and Italy), on Monday and Tuesday in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, was reform of Europol. French Minister for the Interior Nicolas Sarkozy, who met with his colleagues Otto Schily, David Blunkett, Angel Acebes and Giuseppe Pisanu, had insisted during the last G5 meeting in October 2003 in La Baule on the need to make Europol more effective.
