Michael Howard will never support a European CONSTITUTION, and wants a "made-to-measure" EUROPE

Brussels, 16/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - During a conference held in Berlin on Thursday by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, the Leader of the British Conservative Party, Michael Howard, sketched out his vision of Europe, which owes very little to that of the EPP-ED group, which the Tories belong to. In particular, Michael Howard said clearly that he would never support a European Constitution, and that the United Kingdom would stay outside the euro zone with no ill effects.
