16/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - The former Finnish Prime Minister Paavo Lipponen (Social Democrat) said on Saturday, according to Reuters, that he would be interested in becoming the President of the European Commission. During a meeting in Prague, Mr Lipponen said that the Finnish government would take a decision on this in June.
