EU files complaint against US anti-dumping procedures - Korean request for shipyard panel

Brussels / Geneva, 16/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday in Geneva, the Union is to submit a formal complaint against the laws, procedure and methodology used by the United States to determine the level of dumping by foreign competition. Its request for a panel on this must be examined the same day by the WTO's Dispute Settlement Body. The request will, however, no doubt be withdrawn a second time next month in order to be able to go beyond the foreseeable US opposition. The request will...
