Brussels, 30/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - Commissioner Pascal Lamy returned in greater detail to the European requests for minimal but urgent reform of the way the World Trade Organisation (WTO) works, as he spoke before the Kangaroo Group at the European Parliament on Tuesday. In his view, it is imperative, if one wants to make headway on substance, that there is also "progress on procedures and internal workings of the WTO", at least on some issues.
