Extensive inquiry into sale of sports rights to internet and 3g mobile operators

Brussels, 30/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to launch a broad investigation into the sale of sports rights to providers of third generation (3G) mobile phone services. The aim is to have a clear and wide a view as possible of the availability of audiovisual sports rights in the European Union.
