Verheugen in Rabat 4/5 February for consultations ahead of setting up action plan

Brussels, 30/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - Günter Verheugen, European Enlargement Commissioner in charge of neighbourhood policy will make his second visit to the Maghreb on 4/5 February during a visit to Morocco for meetings with members of Government, including the Prime Minister Driss Jettou. The Commissioner was in Tunisia on 21 and 22 January (see EUROPE 23 January, p.10) and will also pay a visit to Egypt, probably in early March.
