Brussels, 21/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - After a few moments of hesitation, the Polish government has appointed the minister for European affairs (and former representative of the Polish government at the Convention) as the first Polish European Commissioner. According to procedures, Mr Miller will still have to "consult" President Kwasnewski and the European affairs committee at the Polish parliament but that the decision would be entirely up to the government, which came out for Ms Huebner....
