Volkswagen decision postponed till 28 January

Brussels, 21/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has announced that it is putting its decision on Volkswagen off till next week due to an agenda that is already too full, it was announced on Wednesday by Jonathan Todd, Spokesman. We recall that the Commission must decide to send, or not to send, a reasoned opinion to Germany so that it amends its law on Volkswagen, which protects the maker from hostile acquisition.
