Brussels, 21/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - A conciliation procedure between Parliament and Council is now inevitable on the proposed directive on environmental liability. As it is unable to agree to all the amendments voted through by the European Parliament at second reading, the Council decided on Tuesday that there is no other way out.
