Presidency seeks relaunch of peace in Middle East and redefines EU/Russian relations

Brussels, 21/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - Addressing the European Parliament's foreign affairs committee on Tuesday, the president of the EU Council Brian Owen announced that he wanted to organise a meeting between the Israeli an Palestinian prime ministers to relaunch the peace process in the Middle East, as well as the need to redefine the framework of relations between the EU and Russia.
