Brussels, 11/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - The two representatives of the European Parliament at the IGC, Klaus Hänschu (SPD) and Elmar Brok (CDU), warned Poland and Spain of the risk that the IGC could fail on the question of double majority in Council, stressing that the ensuing "major crisis" would also inevitably have an impact on future negotiations on EU financial perspectives for the period after 2006.
