11/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - On 10 December, Italian Vice Prime Minister Gianfranco Fini received in Rome a delegation of MEPs headed by Elizabeth Montfort (EPP-ED, France), who handed over a petition calling for the EU's Christian heritage to be included in the future European Constitution. The petition is signed by several MEPs and by "hundreds of thousands of European citizens", a press release states.
