Infringement proceedings against Spain and UK

Brussels, 12/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - As we anticipated, the Commission has sent a letter of formal notice to Spain and the United Kingdom for serious failings in their obligations to ensure the enforcement of the Community Fisheries Policy (see EUROPE of 11 November, p.8 for details).
